In the last 5 years I’ve been working as a freelance producer and fixer in China for several Western broadcasters.

I’ve extensively work for ORF Austrian National Broadcaster in Beijing. My responsibilities have been: research and identification of relevant stories/news,  organization of the crew, dealing with shooting permissions and conducting interviews in Chinese.

Among the most important stories I’ve covered are Ai Weiwei’s arrest, Real Estate Bubble in China, Christian Catholic community in China, Migrant workers conditions in coastal provinces.

I’ve been also working at Ctvs as a production coordinator for documentary projects, corporate videos and events, i.e. Mercedes-Benz and Maybach (press kit), production coordinator for BMW, producer/researcher for ARTE‘s documentaries, coordinator for video coverage and live broadcasting of Superformula‘s races in Inner Mongolia and Beijing, managing a crew of 80 people.

Thanks to my deep knowledge of China, I can provide the following services:

  • location scouting
  • research
  • shooting permits clearance
  • logistics
  • crew management
  • interpreting/translations
